Good Morning everyone!
Today I will be posting my first Chapter in a series that I call 'The Neon Ponies'. Here I will getting more in depth with my original character Princess Neon Boom and how she came to be.
Please bare with me! I don't claim to be a good story teller, nor do I have the right setup for a novel-like format.
I'm simply writing in a format that I find comfortable!
I've been getting quite a few requests to wright the story about Neon Boom and her family, So here's the first chapter!

Summary: Let's start from the very beginning! You will take a glimpse into the life of Princess Neon Boom's parents life and how they develop.

Born into royalty wasn’t all that cracked up to be, or so it seemed to a young stallion named Blazon Bass. His parents, the founder of Raverly City, passed away due to an assassination in his teenager years. Blazon Bass was devastated; he did not find himself fit to handle a city, let alone dealing with the overwhelming depression of losing his parents. Threw out his childhood he would explore the outskirts of the city, that would contain a great amount of woodland. You would never find him in the halls of the castle, nor sitting through royalty business attire. Blazon Bass found it more suitable to spread his wings and explore the land that he was born into.
Years passed by as he successfully ruled over his city. He grew tired, and lonely. Blazon always found himself day dreaming about his younger years when he was free from the castle walls, flying through the forest, breathing in the fresh air. Something else always crossed his mind. A friend, a strange friend he met so long ago in the forest. Blazon could remember her beautiful face like it was yesterday. She was a young alicorn, her beautiful eyes lit up the night, along with other parts of her body. To him, she seemed like a forest goddess, graceful and gentle like a firefly. They became the best of friends, exploring and finding new parts of the woodland together. Sharing a special bound, they seemed unbreakable. But the time came, when he could no longer spread his wings wide and leave behind his royal duties.  Blazon had to rule his city, no matter how much freedom he lacked, his people needed him.

A new day came, Celestia's sun rolling over the forest life and reaching the city walls. Blazon Bass awoke almost instantly, shooting open his eyes, he looked around his champers. He couldn't help but to get a strange feeling, an almost comforting feeling that seems so familiar. Deep in thought, he widened his eyes; 'Could it be?' he muttered to himself as he slipped out of bed and walked over to his balcony doors. Turning the door handle, Blazon walked out onto the balcony, his black and red mane drifting in the wind as he peered over the side and looked into the forest brush below. He couldn't believe it; the beautiful Alicorn that he shared a close bond with was peering back up at him with an almost displeased face. Perking his ears in excitement, Blazon quickly looked around to see if anyone else was watching. Once he felt confident that they were alone, Blazon spoke; "Neon..." he said in a lower tone as he spread his large wings and pushed himself off the balcony, joining her in the forest brush below.
"It's.. Been so long-" he stuttered as he was shortly cut off. "Where have you been!?" the goddess cried out as she took a step back in disgust. She clearly was uncomfortable with his presents and the fact she was so close to the city walls. It was sad, in this society her kind was shunned upon, her design lacked appeal in normal ponies eyes. Neon's species was highly recommended for science discectomy because of their supernatural neon glow, so for her to be so close to the walls, made her highly uncomfortable. "I've been.. busy with my duties.." he said in a rather low tone, knowing that he was in the fault. His answer seemed to anger her even more; "You left me out of nowhere, No good bye.. No fair well.." she pleaded as her ears flopped down. It was silent between them for a few seconds before she spoke again; "I.. I thought you were dead.." Neon shortly added as she looked away, tears forming in her eyes. Widening his eyes at her emotion, he couldn't help but to feel bad. "I know.. I'm.. sorry.." he ensured her as he stepped closer. "If I came and saw you once I was in control of the throne, Ponies would find out about you..!" he added, desperation in his voice. It was true, Once you became the head leader of the throne, everypony is watching your every move. Neon knew what his royal background would do, but she was still hurt that he didn't say his goodbyes. She was emotionally depressed without his company; so many years without his loving smile made a pony go mad. It was silent once again; it was time to tell him how she really felt.

"I love you..." she whispered as she folded her wings, hiding her body, slightly embarrassed. Blazon huffed out a sigh and looked across at his beautiful goddess. "I love you too.." he admitted shortly after with a kind gaze. Perking her ears, she made eye contact with him once more; she was speechless. Neon knew that they were close friends once upon a time, but for him to share the strong bond that they once had, made her cry with happiness. "Oh! Uh-" he stuttered once again, stepping towards her more until he was looking down at her. The beautiful alicorn looked up at him with eyes full of tears. "Don't cry..." Blazon added shortly as he brang his wing around and comforted her. She smiled gently and leaned up, kissing him passionately. Returning the kiss, he leaned out of it only to hear a guard call out his name from inside his room. Turning away to look up at the balcony, Blazon looked to see if the guard was peering down at them. "You should leave-" he said as he turned his attention back to the goddess. To his surprise, she was already gone. It was amazing how she was just hear, but then vanished without even making a noise. It made sense with how she was a Neon pony; she needed to be stealthy to survive.

Taking in a deep breath, he extended his large wings and flew back up to the balcony to greet his guard. Looking back at the forest below, he hoped to see her again sometime soon.

Thanks for reading! I'll hopefully have a new chapter up in the near future.
If you confused, Neon is NOT Princess Neon Boom, Neon is her mother and Blazon Bass is her father. Blah Blah Blah, you will find out in later chapters. Hope you enjoyed my first chapter!
